Directions

We are open only to registered guests or by appointment.

1. Take I -12 to Exit 57 (Goodbee / Madisonville). Go north to LA Hwy. 1077.

2. Continue north 9 miles across US Hwy. 190 and Goodbee Amoco (supplies and home cooking) and turn right after 9 miles at LA Hwy. 1077 sign.

3. Go 2 miles to top of small  "hill" (Gene's Grocery - nearest place for food supplies - on right and always bearing right, leave Hwy. 1077 onto Hwy. 1078, "Bennett Bridge Road"), and turn at first right onto Donnie Road.

4. Go 1/2 mile. For the Chalet, turn right at Garden Lane  and follow to dead end. For Meadow Cabin and Tree House, turn right at Cooper Road. Open, then close gate behind you.

The nearest store for the usual food items such as milk, bread and various drinks is Gene's Grocery.  But it may surprise you to know this little store offers a wonderful array of specialty food items.  They have frozen shrimp or crawfish-stuffed deboned chicken. So if you are in the mood for something more than just hotdogs and/or hamburgers back at your cabin and would like to fix a little something special, be sure to stop to see what Gene's Grocery has to offer.

Joanne's Patisserie 

On the breakfast/dessert side for this area, we would like to suggest Joanne's Patisserie.  This shop is on the left side of Hwy 1077 just before the right turn (#2 in the directions above)  coming to Little River Bluffs.  Fresh coffee and  fresh daily made pastries are in store for you.  She is known for her chocolates.
